Thomaston Fire Station is an 11,000 square foot 5 bay fire station built by our firm. It is a new construction build, and we were chosen as the awarded contractor after pre-qualifications and the bidding process.

A ground up new construction project that required over 1,000 tons of fill dirt to be imported to create the building pad and parking lot.

The administration area consists of 8 sleeping rooms, a weight room, 2 EMS stations, 4 offices and a training and a conference room. It has a mix of brick veneer with smooth Hardie panel reveal siding with aluminum framed windows.

The apparatus bay is a preengineered metal building with 5 truck bays and 10 overhead doors. It has metal sheeting and brick veneer exterior cladding and metal liner panels and exposed CMU block on the interior. Specialized mechanical, electrical and plumbing were involved in this project.

Sitework consisted of all new utilities, heavy duty concrete paving, a new retention pond and installing a new retaining wall.
